What is in it

Four ingredients, in full:

• Aqua (Water)
• Hypochlorous Acid — the active
• Sodium Chloride — salt
• Phosphoric Acid — pH adjuster

No fragrance, no colour, no alcohol, no essential oils. If an ingredient is not on that list, it is not in the bottle.

What does 200 PPM mean?

PPM is parts per million — the concentration of hypochlorous acid in the water. Ours is 200 PPM, and that number is printed on every carton.

Concentration matters because hypochlorous acid products vary enormously, and a bottle that does not tell you its strength is asking to be taken on trust. We print it so you can compare like with like.

How to use it

Two or three presses over clean or bare skin, eyes closed, held roughly at arm's length so it lands as a mist rather than a splash. Let it dry. There is nothing to wipe off and no need to rinse.

It is light enough to go over bare skin or under whatever comes next in your routine — moisturiser, sunscreen, nothing at all.

How often can I use it?

As often as it suits you. It is fragrance-free and dries without residue, so it does not build up over the day the way a heavier product can.

When to reach for it

Is it suitable for oily or sensitive skin?

It is fragrance-free and made of four ingredients, which is why it suits most skin. It is a cosmetic rather than a medicine, so if your skin is reactive, patch test on a small area first and stop using it if it stings.

What it is not

It is not a treatment. It is not a cleanser that removes make-up, not a moisturiser, and not a replacement for sunscreen. It does not claim to cure, treat or prevent any condition, and we would rather say so plainly than let the marketing imply otherwise.

Storing it

Hypochlorous acid is sensitive to light and heat — that is chemistry, not a flaw in the bottle. Keep it out of direct sun and out of a hot car, and it will behave as the label says.
